Timber Fences

We offer a range of choices when it comes to timber fencing, including standard paling, lapped, capped and picket fences.

Standard Paling Fence

The most common type of timber fence, usually constructed as a boundary fence between properties.

We build our paling fences in standards heights of 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m and 21.m and can be constructed of treated pine or hardwood.

Lapped and Capped Paling Fence

This style of fence is similar to the standard paling fence, but a second layer of palings is installed over the gap left by the first layer. This is known as a lapped fence, and is great for extra privacy from the road or neighboring properties.

If your fence is highly visible and you want the best look for your new lapped paling fence we can also add the “cap” to the fence.

This is a finishing piece of timber that is attached to the top of the fence for its entire length.

Not only does this give the fence a nice completed look, it also protects the ends of the palings from water damage which will lengthen the lifespan of the fence.

Picket Fencing

A picket fence is a great addition to your federation style house, or just to give that homely charm.

We can construct the standard timber picket fence, or we can also supply and install aluminum and plastic picket fences.
Apart from being longer lasting than timber, the benefit of these options is that they can be made in any colour so don’t need painting.

There is a huge range of styles for picket fencing, including decorative posts and picket types.

We only use quality timbers that are treated against termites and decay. Plus we offer all of our clients a 12 month guarantee on our workmanship.
